The all-day concert was held at the old Morrison Park Amphitheater in Shelbyville – “Cornstock” was the brainchild of Pete Jarvis. (Pictured above - left with Dennis Hill). Fashioned after 1969’s “Woodstock” (minus half a million or so)…. “Cornstock” was Shelbyville’s way to be involved in the movement of the late 60’s and early 70’s.

1970 was a simpler time...... Maybe we could use a day to gather and remind ourselves of a time when music, love, and peace were part of every day.

BRING YOUR LAWN CHAIRS, FAT DADDY'S CATERING, VIC AND JES WILL HAVE THE USUAL LIBATIONS AVAILABLE.
